How to Connect Shopify to Zoho Mail Using Make Automation

If you’re building your web presence, automation is one of the most valuable skills you can learn.

In this tutorial, I’ll show you how to connect Shopify to Zoho Mail using Make, so emails can be sent automatically whenever something happens in your Shopify store.

This is another practical workflow I’ve learned and now want to share with you. The goal is simple: save time, automate repetitive tasks, and build systems that help your business grow.

What Can You Automate?

By connecting Shopify, Make, and Zoho Mail, you can automatically:

* Send notifications when a new order is placed
* Alert your team when a high-value order arrives
* Send custom emails for new customers
* Notify suppliers about new purchases
* Receive daily sales summaries
* Create personalized follow-up emails

Step 1: Create a New Scenario in Make

1. Log in to Make.
2. Click Create a New Scenario.
3. Add Shopify as your first module.

Step 2: Choose a Shopify Trigger

Popular triggers include:

* New Order
* New Customer
* New Product
* Order Updated

For this example, select New Order.

Step 3: Connect Your Shopify Store

1. Click Add Connection.
2. Enter your Shopify store details.
3. Authorize Make to access your store.

Once connected, test the trigger.

Step 4: Add Zoho Mail

1. Click the + button.
2. Search for Zoho Mail.
3. Select Send Email.

Step 5: Connect Your Zoho Mail Account

1. Add a new Zoho Mail connection.
2. Sign in to your Zoho account.
3. Grant the required permissions.

Step 6: Map Shopify Data to the Email

Customize the email using Shopify variables:

Subject:
New Order Received - Order #{{Order Number}}

Message:
Hello,

A new order has been placed.

Customer: {{Customer Name}}
Email: {{Customer Email}}
Order Total: {{Total Price}}

Please review the order in Shopify.

Regards,
Automated Workflow

Step 7: Test the Automation

Run the scenario once and create a test order in Shopify.

Verify that:

* Shopify sends the order data.
* Make processes the workflow.
* Zoho Mail sends the email successfully.

Step 8: Activate the Scenario

Turn the scenario ON.

From now on, every new Shopify order will automatically trigger a Zoho Mail notification without any manual work.

Final Thoughts

This simple Shopify → Make → Zoho Mail automation can save hours of manual work and ensure you never miss important store activity.

It’s another building block in creating a professional web presence and learning how to automate your online business step by step.
